Anitta has had an intense month. After finally releasing her eagerly-awaited album Funk Generation, the Brazilian star is ready to light up stages everywhere. In recent weeks, we’ve seen her rock Coachella alongside her good friend Peso Pluma, and more recently, the Tecate Emblema festival in Mexico.
Now Anitta’s fans in the U.S. are in luck! The ‘Envolver’ singer will be offering several show dates in the United States. She’ll kick off her concert run on May 21 in Los Angeles, at The Wiltern (3790 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90010). Tickets are now available on Live Nation starting at $84.

Anitta has been making headlines over the past year. The Rio de Janeiro native is known for her strong personality and extroverted nature, an explosive combination that always makes her the center of attention wherever she goes. However, this spotlight is not always positive for her.
In mid-May, the Brazilian diva used the release of her recent music video ‘Aceita,’ included in her latest studio work, to open up about her religion, Santeria. This issue has sparked a lot of controversy on social media, leading her to lose almost 200k followers in just a few hours after the announcement. Anitta herself has denounced this as “religious racism.”
Controversies aside, it really seems that Anitta is experiencing one of the brightest moments in her career, becoming one of the most influential Latin stars, collaborating with the king of corridos tumbados, and rocking the stage alongside Madonna. We’re ready for some funk here!
