The End. Adele, after 50 weekends and 100 concerts, has concluded her residency in Las Vegas. Two years of Weekends with Adele have come to an end at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

«I’m so sad that this residency has ended, but also so happy that it happened—I truly am,» she told the audience during her final concert. «I’m going to miss it so much, and I’ll miss all of you so much. But I don’t know when I’ll want to perform again.»

A few months ago, during her concerts in Germany, Adele shared her plans to take a long break after finishing her residency, and it seems she hasn’t changed her mind.

Among the audience that last evening, alongside fellow professionals like Lisa, were her son Angelo and her partner Rich Paul. Through tears, Adele explained, «I chose to do a residency mainly because I hate touring, but also so [Angelo] could have a normal life. Thank you for being patient with me,» she told him before expressing how much she loves him. Her son surprised her by coming on stage with balloons.

Adele also highlighted the unwavering support of her partner, Rich Paul, who represents figures like LeBron James. «Thank you for always supporting me and making me feel like I can do anything,» she said.

Adele’s Tribute to Celine Dion

In her farewell speech, Adele didn’t forget one of her greatest inspirations: Celine Dion. A few weeks ago, the iconic diva made a viral appearance in Adele’s audience, showcasing mutual admiration.

«It was a full-circle moment for me because she’s the only reason I wanted to be here. I cried for an entire week after seeing her. She’s why I wanted to perform in this specific theater. I didn’t just want a room where Celine had been—I wanted to be in the space built for her,» Adele explained.

While this is a goodbye, it’s not a permanent one. Adele assured fans she’d return, saying, «Performing is the only thing I’m good at. I’ll miss you all so much. I don’t know when I’ll be back,» she concluded.

What’s Next for Adele?

For now, Adele plans to focus on herself. She has shared her intention to study English literature online. Perhaps once she earns her degree, she’ll turn her focus back to music. We’ll be waiting.
