The celebrity world seems to have come to a halt again with the news of an alleged breakup by one of the most talked-about couples of 2023: none other than Bad Bunny (29) and Kendall Jenner (28). A source reportedly revealed the news to People magazine, which confirmed the split this past weekend after less than a year of dating.
The last time we saw the couple together publicly was at the Saturday Night Live afterparty following Benito’s stellar appearance as host and musical guest on the show. In theory, they started dating when the reggaeton artist relocated to Los Angeles, introduced by mutual friends. «Kendall recently started hanging out with him. She likes him and is having fun,» a source told the mentioned magazine. However, other media outlets, such as Entertainment Tonight, also had information that they were «keeping things casual.»
Months later, we saw them at various public outings, such as the MET Gala, Drake’s concert in Los Angeles, or the Kardashian sister’s Halloween party, among others.

The distance between the two superstars could be due to nothing more and nothing less than the volume of work that both have to handle.
Although breakup rumors between Kendall and Benito began to surface in early November when the model posted a mysterious and nostalgic photo with the caption «what’s meant for me, will simply find me,» it has only now seemed to be confirmed. However, it would have been amicable.
“There’s no bad blood,” a source told The Messenger. “They are even still in contact. Their relationship had been rocky due to their busy schedules.” Bad Bunny is in the middle of planning his 2024 world tour, making it hard to give their budding relationship the time it needed, leading Kendall to feel that “the relationship truly ran its course.”

There are also sources certifying that Kendall’s friends saw a very lasting relationship with the rapper, although apparently, they would continue to see each other but without anything serious.
“Kendall’s friends don’t think she’ll be with Bad Bunny forever,” one source said. “Despite the breakup rumors, they are still seeing each other, but [Kendall’s pals] don’t see a huge spark between them or any long-term potential. If Kendall’s happy, then they’re happy for her, but they’ve seen her happier before in past relationships.”
