Troye Sivan has us eagerly awaiting the release of his third studio album, Something To Give Each Other, and we can’t help but be incredibly excited! Especially after gifting our ears with his latest single, «Got Me Started.» The Australian sensation, has generously provided his devoted followers with a fresh taste of this upcoming album.

And let’s not overlook that Troye recently tantalized his Instagram followers with a quite revealing photo. In the picture, he bared his torso and abdomen amidst a tangle of bedsheets. There was no head in sight, and he complemented the image with the seductive caption, ‘got me started,’ teasing what was going to be his next single, and staying true to the alluring aesthetic he first introduced with his initial single and album cover.

Following the summer launch of «Rush,» Troye, once again demonstrates his ability to create pop songs with a dance-infused twist, solidifying his position as one of the most versatile pop stars in today’s music scene. There’s no room for doubt! This time, the artist taps into a wave of nostalgia reminiscent of the early 2000s, reviving the memorable melody from one of 2009’s chart-toppers. In the chorus of  the song, Troye weaves in a sample from Bag Raiders‘ hit «Shooting Stars,» a dance anthem of its time.

It’s a video that has seamlessly become a part of LGBTQ+ pop culture –a true gem! Fast forward two months, and Troye has crafted a music video where dance again plays an esencial role. However, this time, the sensuality is somewhat toned down, though it remains a noticeable element, given that «Rush» opened with a playful cheeky moment. 

We must commend the artist for the final choreography sequence, where Troye dances alongside a talented ensemble of professionals atop a towering building –it’s nothing short of mesmerizing. What’s more, we applaud Troye’s commitment to representing diverse facets of the LGBTQ+ community, from transgender individuals to captivating drag queens.
