The ‘Miami Squad’: Tainy, Daddy Yankee, Feid & Sech Release ‘La Baby’ with VERY Special Guests

There is not much left to discover about ‘DATA’ and a little more about Sena—the android that Tainy has created as the central conscience of this project. Nevertheless, he has presented ‘La Baby’, a new preview that features the participation of many female artists who are friends of the industry.

The collaboration itself includes Daddy Yankee, Feid and Sech, but the official video is led by a sort of «Miami Squad»—as Camila Cabello has dubbed it—a group of empowered women who are excellent at what they do: Bad Gyal, Becky G, Evaluna, Lali, Camila Cabello, Elena Rose, Rainao and Paopao appear in a music video recorded in the style of a home video (VHS).

All these singers have recorded themselves lip-syncing while engaging in daily activities or simply enjoying a moment of calm. For example, we see Bad Gyal applying makeup, Elena Rose driving, Evaluna drinking a smoothie or brushing her teeth.

The Inspiration Behind ‘DATA’

«In our world, human interaction is disappearing. Organic connections, nature, and our way of communicating are being replaced by technology. With technology at my disposal, I have decided to create an android named Sena. I plan to bring her to life through encrypted songs as data. As humans, music conveys emotions to us and takes us to life moments that remain stored in our memory forever. Perhaps these songs will give Sena enough emotions to access her memory and feel alive. Finally, Sena is awake. It reminds me of the world we once lived in,» explained Tainy through his social media with a series of images from the manga.

The album cover has been created by Stills, Sho and Elliot Muscat, along with Sensei Hiromasa Ogura (artistic director of Ghost in the Shell). It features Sena and its origin dates back to the single ‘LO SIENTO BB :/’ with Julieta Venegas and Bad Bunny.
