Shakira, without a doubt, is one of the most widely recognized –and loved– Latin artists globally. She’s reached this level of fame through sheer hard work and her immense talent. One of the things that truly sets her apart is her ability to pour her personal experiences and emotions into her songs. We’ve witnessed this notably in her recent tracks like «Acróstico,» «TQG,» and a particularly talked-about one, «Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,» which stirred up attention due to her well-known relationship with the Spanish footballer.

Now, shifting gears a bit, People en Español reports that today, on Thursday, November 9th, there’s an interview airing on Antena 3’s ‘Joaquín, el novato’ show in Spain. In this interview, Gerard Piqué gets into some rather personal matters. While the full interview isn’t out yet, there’s already a preview making waves.

Pique’s ‘Session’?

During the conversation, host Joaquín Sánchez, a former footballer himself, asked Piqué an intimate question: “How often do you and your partner have intimacy in a week?” Piqué responded with a smile, hinting at a clever response, saying, “I’m doing quite well in that department lately.” Joaquín responded with laughter, jokingly saying, “You seem rejuvenated.” This exchange arises due to the age difference between Piqué and his current partner, Clara Chía, who happens to be 14 years younger than him.

However, the conversation didn’t stop there. They also discussed his breakup with Shakira, with the host asking, “Every story has two sides; why haven’t we heard yours yet?” While this snippet gives us a taste of what’s to come, we’re eagerly awaiting more insights in Pique’s upcoming ‘session’.

Shakira’s Team Warned Her Against Releasing Bizarrap Song

«Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,» has become a breakup anthem. The release was a massive hit, breaking all records and becoming the talk of the town due to the messages Shakira dedicated to her former partner and the father of her children.

In the song, there are no hidden messages; it’s all crystal clear. That’s why, at one point, her team advised her not to release it. “Many people on my team told me, ‘No, you’re not going to release that song. What are you thinking? You have to change the lyrics,’” the artist explained in an interview with Mexican journalist Alejandra Espinoza. “I’m not a United Nations official or a public servant; I’m an artist, and I really have to express what I feel and how I feel it. And that freedom of expression is non-negotiable,” Shakira declared.
