Shakira has shared through her social media some behind the scenes of the video. In one of her posts, she’s seen lying in the garbage when something catches the corner of her eye. To her horror, she discovers an enormous rat making its way towards her, making her let out a tremendous scream.
Terrified, she tried to get up, but her mermaid tail made it difficult for her to move. Although the rodent was meant to be part of the scene, she never anticipated it would come so close.
Fish Tank
During an interview with Primer Impacto, Shakira shared a scary story from the filming of the «Copa Vacía» music video. The fish tank on the set broke, and water started flooding in. Because she was wearing a mermaid tail, she couldn’t easily escape. Luckily, the crew used a crane to get her out of there safely.
What adds an interesting twist to the story is that Turizo actually told her that the fish tank would break. She dismissed the idea, assuming that the production had impeccable safety measures in place. However, much to her surprise, Turizo’s prediction turned out to be accurate.
