The release date for GUTS, Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated second studio album, is almost here! The pop princess, whom we first met in 2021 with Sour, returns two and a half years after her debut with a new studio work. And it seems like it’s going to be one of the albums of the year.
After releasing «Vampire» last June, the first preview of this new musical era, now it’s time for «Bad Idea Right?,» a track that will be available on August on all platforms and is set to increase the hype around her upcoming release.
In this way, Olivia shared the cover art for this new single on her social media. And it promises to follow the same trail as «Vampire.» This time Olivia is seen looking into a mirror covered in lipstick kiss marks. The same lipstick is what Olivia uses to write the title on the glass.
Undoubtedly, an image that shows we are facing a song that will be more upbeat than «Vampire.» In fact, the American star hinted in the teaser she used to reveal the album’s setlist that this would be the next single.

Just a few days ago, Olivia Rodrigo shared the complete setlist for GUTS. The album will include 12 songs and seems to follow in the footsteps of Sour. The singer herself revealed that emotionally it would be a continuation of that album. However, more mature, as is fitting for her age. After all, when she wrote her first studio album, she was only 17 years old.
