GUTS, Olivia Rodrigo’s latest musical project that has surprised everyone, isn’t the only music she has presented recently. Fans who are getting their hands on different special vinyl editions of this album are discovering hidden songs at the end of the record that we hadn’t known about until now.

«Obsessed,» «Scared of My Guitar,» «Stranger,» and «Girl I’ve Always Been» have already been revealed in the red, blue, white, and purple vinyl versions of her album. These four new offerings are part of the recording sessions for this studio album, and there may be more to come.

During an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the artist confirmed that she recorded a total of 25 songs during the creation and recording sessions of GUTS, and her ultimate goal is to release them. At the time of that interview, perhaps no one knew that these songs were hidden, hence her words: «Some of them will definitely see the light.» There’s no doubt that these unreleased tracks have become new coveted items for her vast legion of fans, who have rushed to social media to share the discovery of a hidden song in their special editions.

It’s clear that in the current landscape of the music industry, there are few artists who can release an album with 20 songs. However, if anyone can do it over the coming days, weeks, or months, it’s Olivia Rodrigo, who has Taylor Swift as a good role model to emulate.

The titles of the new songs that remain unreleased and were part of the GUTS recording session are currently unknown. This album has received unanimous acclaim from both the public and critics, and while it may not have had the gigantic impact of «Driver’s License» and SOUR, it is just beginning its journey on streaming platforms, radio, and will soon hit the stage in concerts as part of her upcoming worldwide tour.

Olivia Rodrigo’s second musical project still has a lot to offer, both in the songs already presented and in those that may surprise us in the remaining months of 2023 or 2024.
