Natanael Cano is already a major force in Mexican music, and a precursor of the corridos tumbados genre. He, without a doubt, has played a decisive role in revolutionizing the scene of contemporary Mexican music.
This year has been probably the most fructiferous for Regional Mexican Music in the last years, according to Billboard, the consumption of this music genre in the United States has increased by 42.1% year-to-date as of May 25. Same goes for the famous corridos tumbados, that have exponentially gained popularity not only in Mexico and Latin America, but in The United States.
Natanael’s latest album, Nata Montana, features collaborations with artists such as Peso Pluma, Junior H, and Gabito Ballesteros. Although its success was not a shocking surprise due to the anticipation and unique music style, the album has reached the no.2 position on the Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart, just below Peso Pluma’s Genesis.

The song is a duranguense style “love” ballad that incorporates a saxophone for a more romantic touch. Natanael’s version is a bit different, but with the same essence and with his own style.
