Liam Payne, on August 25, took to his social media platforms to announce the postponement of his Latin American tour due to a severe kidney infection that required hospitalization. However, Payne did not disclose many additional details

As reported by the British newspaper, The Sun, former One Direction star was rushed to A&E department in an ambulance. Following his initial assessment, he was admitted to a hospital ward for urgent medical care. Doctors have advised that he will need to remain hospitalized for a minimum of six days due to the severity of his condition.

They want to do every test possible to understand the issue fully but they now suspect that there has been an underlying issue for a while that has been getting worse” –a source said.

Prior to his hospitalization, Liam Payne and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, were enjoying a romantic getaway at Lake Como in Italy, where they were celebrating their one-year anniversary. Unfortunately, during their stay at their lakeside property, Payne fell ill with an agonizing kidney pain.

Liam’s mother, Karen, shared her concerns with Mail Online regarding her son’s health. She expressed the depth of her worry, acknowledging her sense of helplessness in the face of the situation, as all they can do is hope for the best.

It’s such a horrible situation and we just hope he’s in the best place possible.”

Of course, we empathize with Liam’s mother’s concerns, and we genuinely wish for his speedy and fully recovery.
