Last week, when we saw the official teaser on social media finally announcing the arrival of his fifth studio work in the purest New York-style Peaky Blinder fashion and with a completely shaved head, we thought that maybe Benito would be back to his trap roots, a genre the Puerto Rican artist elevated to new heights with his debut album, X100PRE (2018). However, in this new release, «El Conejo Malo» blends a multitude of styles with hard-hitting rhymes that range from the sensual to the pure beef, leaving no one indifferent.
Although at first glance, there may not appear to be any collaborations on the tracklist, this seems to be just a detail that encourages us to listen to each and every song to discover the big names hidden behind each one. In this work produced by none other than Tainy and La Paciencia, we find other star guests like Feid, Young Miko (both present at the album’s listening party in Puerto Rico, his homeland), Eladio Carrión, Bryant Meyers, Arcángel, Ñengo Flow, De La Ghetto, and Mora.
With a «bien cabrón» style and a few subliminal messages, «Nadie sabe lo que va a pasar» also seems to be here to make history.
