Bad Bunny Sings About Exclusive Love in New Reggaeton Banger ‘UN PREVIEW’
The release is meant to give us a glimpse of his upcoming musical phase, hinting at what could be his next album
Benito Ocasio Martínez, also known as Bad Bunny, and the reigning superstar of reggaeton, as well as the most listened-to Latin artist worldwide, left no one indifferent last week when he revealed details in an interview with Vanity Fair, hinting at the arrival of his next album this fall. Now, following a tantalizing announcement via WhatsApp, the Puerto Rican artist has just dropped «UN PREVIEW,» which appears to be a snippet of his upcoming musical project.
In «UN PREVIEW,» produced by Tainy and La Paciencia, Bad Bunny transforms a love ballad, full of seduction – and a touch of fatal attraction, why not say it – into a reggaeton hit. Benito delivers his poetic lyrics as usual, singing, “Ahora mi bicho es tuyo, a más nadie voy a dárselo / Los culitos por ahí, eso se canceló,” in a song that seems to transcend physical contact to make way for a more intimate and exclusive relationship.
In the music video directed by Stillz, we see a theme reminiscent of «Where She Goes,» with Benito sporting long hair and a cowboy aesthetic, surrounded by both real and fake horses, an antique Rolls Royce, and what appear to be various references to his current partner, Kendall Jenner, who has declared herself a fan of all these elements on several occasions. There’s also some perreo, as we see several dancers in a full denim look, combining the worlds of reggaeton and the Wild West aesthetic.
