The countdown to the 2023 Latin Grammys ceremony has already begun and coincides precisely with the first week of National Hispanic Heritage Month. It has started with one of the key aspects that were yet to be revealed: the list of nominees. For the grand event, which will be held for the first time outside the United States, in Seville, Spain, the favorites include Edgar Barrera with 13 nominations, and Shakira, Camilo, Karol G, and the composer Keytin with 7 nominations each, followed by Bizarrap with six.
Among the artists with the most nominations to potentially win the coveted statuette are Pablo Alborán, Bad Bunny, mastering engineer Dave Kutch, and Natalia Lafourcade, each with 5 nominations, followed by Santiago Alvarado, Paula Arenas, María Becerra, Juanes, and Ovy on the Drums with four nominations each.
Undoubtedly, one of the anticipated moments was to see the reactions of our Hispanic and Latino artists to this news, and they have expressed joy and gratitude through social media. Want to know what they’ve said? We’ll tell you!
