Neo Pistea is an Argentine rapper and singer who rose to fame as one of the leading figures in the trap music scene in Argentina and Latin America. His real name is Joaquín Daniel Ochoa, and he was born on April 18, 1998, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At LOS40, we had the chance to speak with him about his influences, life, and other topics.

Neo made a name for himself in the scene thanks to the song «Tumbando el Club,» a true trap anthem featuring other urban icons in the country like Nicki Nicole, KHEA and Cazzu, among others. In this interview, we talked to Neo about other names in the scene like Argentine trap icon Duki, rock music in Argentina, and his new projects.

As he tells us, from a young age, he stood out for his distinctive style within the trap genre.
