Two months after the tragic news broke about the passing of actor Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fezco O’Neil in the HBO Max series Euphoria, Fox News Digital confirmed that the cause of his death was accidental. Citing sources from the Alameda County coroner’s office where the lifeless body of the 25-year-old actor was found, Cloud would have taken a fatal combination of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamines, and benzodiazepines, a deadly cocktail that ultimately led to his death due to overdose.

Angus Cloud, At His Lowest Point

Angus Cloud’s sudden death came at the worst time in the actor’s life. As his mother confirmed last July, her son’s death occurred just one week after his father passed away for undisclosed reasons, causing the actor to enter the saddest period of his life, as he had expressed through his social media with some photos.

“As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss” his loved ones wrote in the public statement confirming his death.

A Much-Loved Young Talent In The Industry

Angus Cloud was a much-loved young talent in both the United States television and music industries. The actor, despite being born in Oakland, California, was discovered by a talent scout on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. He reached the peak of his career fame with Euphoria, playing Fezco, the drug dealer and friend of Rue, the character played by Zendaya.

But before this, he had worked in music videos for prominent artists like Becky G and Karol G, collaborating with them on the video for their hit «Mamii,» with rapper Juice Wrld for the audiovisual version of «Cigarettes,» and with Noah Cyrus on «All Three,» his first job as a music video actor. In addition, he had dabbled in Hollywood, working in the films «The Line» directed by Ethan Berger (2023) and «North Hollywood» directed by Mikey Alfred (2021).
