Canadian actress Carrie Anne Fleming, known for her roles in horror TV series and dramas, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Sidney, British Columbia, at the age of 51.
The cause of her death was breast cancer, a battle she had been facing for some time. The news was confirmed by her representative, Simona Crone, and actor Jim Beaver, Fleming’s co-star on Supernatural.
Born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming began her on-screen career in 1994 with a role on Viper, and she also had an uncredited appearance in the film Happy Gilmore (1996). Her work established her as a recurring presence in the world of television horror and Canadian and American TV alike.
Among her most notable roles were Karen Singer on Supernatural, where she played Bobby Singer’s wife in three episodes, and Candy Baker on iZombie, a character she portrayed over five seasons from 2015 to 2019. She also appeared in series such as Smallville, Supergirl, The L Word, UnREAL, Continuum, Stargate SG-1, The 4400, and Secret Agent Man.
Fleming also made her mark in film, with roles in Good Luck Chuck, Married Life, Rememory, and Heart of Clay, as well as on stage, appearing in productions of Noises Off, Romeo and Juliet, Steel Magnolias, and Fame.
