Dopamina has established itself as one of the most listened-to and talked-about tracks from the album Dinastía, the joint collaboration between Peso Pluma and Tito Double P.

The album was released at midnight on December 26, 2025, and features 14 duets including ballads, love songs, and powerful corridos about life and heartbreak.

Breaking Down the ‘Dinastía’ Era: Peso Pluma & Tito Double P’s Evolution

The studio work blends corridos tumbados with sophisticated musicality and contrasting vocals: Peso Pluma’s smooth, elegant tenor versus Tito Double P’s more aggressive delivery. The project’s production lasted over a year and had to be reworked due to Mexican regulations on narcocorridos.

The album cover is inspired by the biblical story of Jacob and Esau, symbolizing the artists’ differences but also their familial and musical bond.

Tito and Peso have positioned themselves as leaders of the new Mexican music movement. On the 2025 Billboard Top Latin Artists chart, Tito Double P reached #4, while Peso Pluma reached #5. The collaboration on Dinastía first catapulted Peso to superstardom, and then solidified Tito’s career.

The Meaning Behind 'Dopamina'

The song blends a corridos tumbados beat with romantic verses, standing out for its musicality—tuba crescendos and decrescendos, ambient backing vocals, and syncopated rhythms. The lyrics were carefully reworked to portray street life, bravado, pain, and loss, while avoiding explicit references to narcocorridos.

The title Dopamina refers to the brain’s sensation of pleasure and euphoria, and the song depicts a life of luxury, excess, and ostentation. It includes references to illicit substances, money, women, cars, and high-end fashion—all from the perspective of someone living on the edge and enjoying adrenaline. It also reflects an attitude of power, status, and confidence, deeply tied to urban culture and, of course, corridos tumbados.

Full Lyrics of Dopamina

Red cup, party hard, powder for the adrenaline

My system’s already activated, I think it’s taking control of me

With the weed on me, the damn temptation kicks in

Dandy mode activates, dressed in fine designer clothes

Honestly, the girls, my addiction, they raise my dopamine

Russians, Chinese, or Latinas that capture my attention

And with all actresses, they see me in the Jeep fully tinted, and of course

Don’t they see me like an Arab, all hooded and expensive?

How much did it cost? I don’t even ask, I pay whatever they want

A lot of money I move, everything encrypted

From Rome to Dublin with ladies in Italian style

Van Cleef clovers with a fully diamond-studded Richard Mille

Girls in Paris tell me "oui, oui" to this lazy cholo

And I roll with a huge crew, I bring a fancy car, everyone strapped up

Ha, ha, pure Double P

Compadre

Bye!

Those Instagram socialites, the ones who think they’re hot stuff

Two blunts, wax feather, Ziploc bags for the mess

With some strong poison in the mix in New York

And with all actresses, they see me in the Jeep fully tinted, and of course

Don’t they see me like an Arab, all hooded and expensive?

How much did it cost? I don’t even ask, I pay whatever

A lot of money I move, everything encrypted

From Rome to Dublin with ladies in Italian style

Van Cleef clovers with my fully diamond-studded Richard Mille

Parisian girls say "oui, oui" to this lazy cholo

And I roll with a crew, I bring a fancy car, everyone strapped up

In my blood

In my veins
