Colombian reggaeton sensation J Balvin has been announced as the Latin artist set to perform during the halftime show of this year’s FIFA Club World Cup Final. He joins a star-studded lineup that includes Doja Cat and Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems.
Set to take place on July 13, this milestone performance is curated by Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin and produced in partnership with Global Citizen. It forms part of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund initiative, which aims to raise USD 100 million to improve access to quality education worldwide—each U.S. ticket sold contributing one dollar to the cause.
The 2025 Club World Cup is being played in an expanded 32-team format across the United States from June 14 to July 13, with the tournament kicking off with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami facing Egypt’s Al Ahly in Miami.
At MetLife Stadium—an 82,500-seat venue that will also host the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final—fans will witness entertainment on par with major U.S. sporting spectacles. The stadium’s history includes events like Super Bowl XLVIII, the Copa América Centenario Final, performances by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran.
