Netflix has finally confirmed when the long-awaited season 4 of Bridgerton will hit our screens. The platform is sticking to its usual strategy and splitting the new season into two parts. The first drops on January 29, 2026, and the second follows on February 26.
This time, the story shifts to Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s second eldest brother, whose storyline promises to be one of the most romantic—and mysterious—so far. Benedict finds himself drawn to a mysterious woman during a masquerade ball, unaware of who she really is or where she comes from.
This season is inspired by the classic tale of Cinderella and based on Julia Quinn’s novel. It dives into themes of desire, identity, and love that goes beyond appearances. Luke Thompson returns as Benedict, while Yerin Ha—best known for her role in Halo—joins the cast as Sophie Beckett, the woman at the heart of this story of forbidden love and hidden truths.

Of course, the story will keep weaving through the lives of the other Bridgerton siblings. While Regé-Jean Page has confirmed he won’t be returning, familiar faces like Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) may show up in brief cameos.
It’s still unclear whether Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma) or Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) will appear this season, but early buzz hints that Francesca and Eloise could take on bigger roles.

Netflix has also confirmed that Bridgerton will continue with a fifth and sixth season. So there’s still plenty of love, scandal, and high-society drama to look forward to.
