On June 22, 2025, Kelsey Parker—podcast host and widow of The Wanted’s Tom Parker—shared devastating news via Instagram. She and her partner Will Lindsay lost their third child, a baby boy named Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, who was “born sleeping.”
In a heartfelt post, Kelsey shared a beautiful poem that conveyed their grief and love: “Phoenix… you will forever be loved… Born with wings, took silent flight. The message emphasized the importance of privacy in this intimate moment, as Kelsey asked for space and time to process “this devastating and earth-shattering news.”
This loss comes after a long journey of grief and resilience. Kelsey lost her husband, Tom Parker, to brain cancer in March 2022 at the age of 33. Together, they raised two children—Aurelia (5) and Bodhi (4). In early 2025, Kelsey began a relationship with Will Lindsay, and the couple announced their pregnancy in January, describing it as “amazing but also bittersweet”.
Will had warmly embraced Kelsey’s children, quickly becoming a supportive father figure. Kelsey also shared that their daughter had suggested naming the baby “Parker” if it were a boy, as a tribute to her late father.
Despite public scrutiny for moving on, Kelsey defended her choices. She insisted that finding happiness and love again didn’t dishonor Tom’s memory. In interviews, she expressed that both she and Tom believed in building a future—even if life had other plans. “I feel like I do deserve to try and find a bit of happiness,” she explained.
Kelsey also believes her late husband blessed her new relationship. She shared that she felt Tom “sent” Will into her life—something felt even more real after Will also lost his dad and connected spiritually heart.
Through her openness, Kelsey has kept Tom’s memory alive. She often posts about him, organizes annual charity events in his name, and includes him in everyday moments. She says Tom is still part of their home discussions, and their children remember him daily.
Kelsey and Will have requested privacy during this time of mourning as they grieve the loss of Phoenix. She expressed gratitude in advance for the supportive messages they’re sure to receive. When they’re ready, they’ll continue sharing their journey of healing.
