Rapper Azealia Banks and MMA fighter Conor McGregor are at the center of controversy (again) after Banks went public with explosive claims about the former UFC champion. On July 14, Banks accused McGregor of sending her unsolicited nude photos and inappropriate messages over the course of several years.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Banks alleged that McGregor, 37, had been messaging her since 2016, sharing explicit photos without her consent. She posted screenshots that appeared to include two nude images purportedly of McGregor, one captioned “lifting weights” and another message warning, “Don’t be a rat cos all rats get caught.”

Banks did not hold back in her response, mocking McGregor’s behavior and highlighting the power imbalance. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote: “How you gonna send a b—h [some] crooked d–k pics then threaten her not to tell.” Tagging McGregor directly, she added, “Do you know who the f—k I am?”

She further ridiculed McGregor’s reported political ambitions—he has hinted at a run for president of Ireland—writing, “Ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland? What is it giving, fam? Use some f—ing sunscreen, damn.”

The situation between Banks and McGregor raises several questions, particularly about sexual harassment on social media—even within high-profile circles. Moreover, the accusations have added fuel to the fighter’s already controversial public image. In 2024, he was found liable in a sexual assault case and is currently appealing the verdict. Just days before the recent scandal broke, McGregor was spotted on camera kissing another woman in Florida, despite being engaged to longtime partner Dee Devlin, with whom he shares four children.

As of now, McGregor and his representatives have not responded to the latest allegations. Notably, McGregor still follows Banks on X, and the screenshots she posted indicate the messages were received without prior conversation in the chat.
