After the release of the documentary FALSSISIMO by Italian paparazzo Fabrizio Corona, it seems that many questions surrounding the separation and divorce of Chiara Ferragni and Fedez are starting to be answered.
After announcing their separation in February 2024, the reasons for the breakup seemed to point to the Pandoro incident, which allegedly caused the couple to distance themselves, as Fedez did not offer Ferragni the same support she had given him throughout their 6 years of marriage.
Although initially, it seemed that legal matters and Chiara’s reputation were the main factors behind the end of the relationship, with the recent «leak» revealing that Fedez had maintained a parallel relationship with another woman, Italian designer Angelica Montini, it seems there is more to the story after all.
Ferragni apparently didn’t learn about the confirmation of the extramarital affair until December 2024, when Fedez even confessed that before marrying, he had asked Montini if she truly wanted this or if she would leave everything behind. Pandoro Gate: The Incident That Allegedly Helped to End Fedez and Ferragni’s Marriage
The so-called «pandoro-gate» refers to the media scandal indicating that the influencer had been selling the Pandoro Pink Christmas at a high price, promoting it as a supposed charitable cause aimed at fighting bone cancer at the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin.
This charitable activity turned out to be untrue, as the donations made by Balocco, Ferragni’s company, were a one-time payment of 50,000 euros to the hospital months before the launch of Ferragni Pandoro. Therefore, the product sales had no effect on charitable donations, as reported by Italy’s Antitrust Authority (AGCM).
This scandal, which has taken a toll on the Italian blogger’s reputation, has also caused significant damage to their relationship, which was already in crisis. The previous edition of the San Remo festival, where Fedez publicly kissed rapper Rosa Chemical, had already caused tensions in the couple.
Months later, Chiara had allegedly postponed any decision regarding her marriage due to her husband’s illness — Fedez is in a delicate health situation after undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery in March 2022— followed by several blood transfusions. However, he reportedly did not offer the same support for his wife’s legal scandals, although he did support her in a controversial social media video criticizing the press.
