Now, just a year into their marriage, the couple has shared deeply personal news: they’re officially parents. The reveal came through Instagram, where Brown posted a short but heartfelt message: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi”.

This decision has sparked all kinds of reactions on social media. For them, though, the equation is simple: what matters is family, not biology.

The actress had already admitted in past interviews that becoming a mother was one of her biggest dreams. On the Smartless podcast, she said she didn’t see a difference between a biological child and an adopted one: “What’s important is building a home full of life and love.” And judging by this news, that wish came true much sooner than anyone expected.

Both Millie and Jake grew up in large families, and from the start of their relationship, they pictured themselves surrounded by kids.
In another conversation, this time on Call Her Daddy, Millie even shared that she once warned Jake she’d be willing to shave her head again — just like she did for her role as Eleven — if that’s what it took to make life easier when caring for a baby. Something that fully shows she’s embracing this new chapter.

At just 21 years old, Millie Bobby Brown has already added actress, entrepreneur, author, fashion icon — and now, mother — to her list of titles.
