The alleged romantic relationship between football star Lamine Yamal (18) and Argentine singer Nicki Nicole (25) made headlines during the summer of 2025.
Rumors intensified after a joint trip to Monaco to celebrate the birthday of the ‘ALMA’ singer. Several photos were taken at El Prat airport in Barcelona (Spain), where Nicki and Lamine were seen together with a group of friends.
A few days later, Yamal shared a romantic photo holding the singer during the birthday celebration, in front of a pink cake and scattered rose petals. The Argentine star reposted it on her profile as well. They have never verbally confirmed their relationship, but this action was widely interpreted as a public acknowledgment.
However, a recent move on the Barça player’s Instagram account has sparked further speculation. Several media outlets and social media accounts reported this week that Lamine may have deleted his photo with Nicki. This gesture has been interpreted as a possible confirmation of a breakup or, at the very least, some distance between the alleged couple.
Nevertheless, several accounts point out that Lamine has not deleted any photos, since he never posted any pictures with Nicki in the first place—only stories, which last just 24 hours.
In any case, it is important to note that neither Lamine nor Nicki have confirmed any information about their private relationship. The singer and the football star, who is being touted as the next Lionel Messi, first met at Yamal’s 18th birthday party.
