Shakira’s concert run got off to a rocky start. After having to cancel several shows for various reasons, the Barranquilla-born singer seems to have regained momentum with her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour, delivering an outstanding and high-energy performance. In fact, during her time in Mexico, the first guest appearances of the tour began to emerge, with Grupo Frontera joining her on stage.

And it seems that won’t be an exception—instead, guest appearances might become a key part of Shakira’s musical spectacle. She confirmed this in an interview with Billboard, where she teased what’s to come in the North American leg of her tour.

«I’m going to start incorporating some surprises and special guests who will be joining me in the U.S. So I think it’s going to be very exciting to share the stage with friends and colleagues. Almost every time I go into the studio to record a collaboration with someone, I end up forming a great friendship that lasts for years—like with Carlos Vives, Alejandro Sanz, Maluma, Bizarrap… There are so many artists who have left a mark on me. It’s been a beautiful experience working with them, and I’ve also had the chance to build lasting friendships,» the singer told the media outlet.

A Tour Full of Latin Stars

Coordinating schedules with other artists, many of whom are also on tour, will be crucial for this new phase of her show, which kicks off on May 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and runs until June 30 in San Francisco. The Colombian singer promises that «there will be many Latinos at these concerts, and I’m sure the Latino community will be there to support me.»

That sense of community is at the heart of Shakira’s musical project and tour: «It has been a healing process for me and for many men and women. We’ve learned together that we grow from our setbacks and that healing happens when we support one another. That’s what my fans have done—given me strength when I needed it. These aren’t just concerts; they are deep, meaningful gatherings where healing takes place. After each show, I feel stronger and happier. I need my audience.»

Shakira’s Tour Might Head to Europe Next
