Beyond financial achievements, the tour has had a significant cultural and economic impact. In her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, the concerts generated an economic boost of approximately 67 billion pesos, equivalent to 0.33% of the city’s quarterly GDP.  The tour’s influence extended to other cities as well, with notable increases in tourism and local business revenues.

Shakira’s ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ album, which inspired the tour, has also garnered critical acclaim, earning her the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album in 2025 . The album’s themes of empowerment and resilience resonate deeply with audiences, further amplifying the tour’s success.

Despite a general downturn in the live music industry, with the top 10 tours’ combined gross dropping from $1.4 billion in 2024 to $1 billion in 2025, Shakira’s tour defied the trend. Her success underscores the strong demand for Latin music and her enduring global appeal.

As the tour continues, projections estimate total grosses exceeding $200 million, further reinforcing Shakira’s status as a leading figure in the global music scene. Recently named the greatest Latin pop artist of all time, the Colombian star puts into practice her famous mantra: «¡Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan!» («Women don’t cry anymore, women bill!»).
