Natti Natasha Makes an Emergency Hospital Visit Before Puerto Rico Concert

Natti Natasha is one of the biggest Latin artists who has been in the spotlight for years and is known for rarely taking a break. She’s starting the new year by getting back on stage in a memorable way. The Dominican singer recently performed at the inauguration of Jenniffer González Colón, the new governor of Puerto Rico. The event, held at the Plaza del Quinto Centenario in San Juan, brought out a large crowd that cheered, danced, and celebrated her performance.

However, the day didn’t come without its challenges. Natti had to make an unexpected trip to the hospital before the event. She shared a photo of herself on a stretcher with an IV in her arm, explaining, “At 2 a.m. today, I had to go to the ER because of bladder pain that was killing me.” Thankfully, she recovered quickly and still managed to perform later that day.

“It was such a special day for me, returning to the stage in my second home, the island that has adopted me as its own, and proving that women have the power! Thank you, 🇵🇷, for all the love you showed me—I enjoyed every moment from start to finish,” she said after the concert, reflecting on the meaningful experience.

The Power of Women

For Natti Natasha, her performance was about more than just starting the year on stage in a country that loves her. It was also a special moment because of her daughter, Vida Isabelle. “My daughter saw her mom as #Nattinatasha for the first time,” she shared with pride.

In a heartfelt social media post, Natti also took a moment to thank the medical team who cared for her earlier that day: “P.S. Thank you to the entire emergency room team at Menonita Caguas.” Thanks to their care, she was able to perform as planned, with her entire family in the audience. Even the new governor joined in the celebration, dancing alongside her husband during the concert.

“Puerto Rico, you know you adopted me years ago. Since that door opened, it has never closed. I’m forever grateful to my second home. I love Puerto Rico—its food, its beaches—and now I have a beautiful baby, Vida, who is Dominican and Puerto Rican, along with my husband and my whole family,” Natti said after performing ‘A Mí Me Gustan Mayores.’

She also had kind words for the new governor, describing her as a “beautiful, charismatic, intelligent, hardworking, and determined woman. We’re here to welcome the fiercest of the fierce.” Natti praised her for showing that “women can achieve anything. No matter the challenge, with discipline, it’s possible.”
