Miley Cyrus to Debut Something Beautiful at Major Film Festival

Miley Cyrus is introducing her new album, Something Beautiful, in a different way. Instead of going the usual route with concerts and a tour, she’s chosen to premiere the project as a visual album at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. Which runs from June 4 to 15 in New York City.

The world premiere of Something Beautiful will take place on Friday, June 6, just one week after the album’s official release on May 30. Along with the screening, Miley will also join fans for an exclusive talk, where she’ll open up about the creative process and the personal journey behind this unique project.

Early tracks like ‘Prelude’, ‘Something Beautiful’, and ‘End of the World’ have already hinted at the album’s artistic direction.

Something Beautiful

This visual album is an ambitious piece that blends music and imagery into what Cyrus calls a “pop opera”. It includes thirteen original songs. It was directed and written by Miley herself, in collaboration with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, and produced by Panos Cosmatos. Miley has described the project as ‘hypnotic and glamorous,’ inspired by classics like The Wall by Pink Floyd and the film Mandy.

Something Beautiful aims to be more than just an album—it’s an immersive experience that brings together music, fashion, and storytelling. The album cover, shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Glen Luchford, shows Miley wearing a 1997 Thierry Mugler couture suit. A nod to the album’s bold and artistic style. The promotional campaign has already created buzz, with posters of the cover image popping up in major cities.
