The incident reportedly occurred earlier this week, as confirmed by the Mexican Rodeo Federation in an Instagram post dedicated to the young woman.
“Valeria was more than just a rodeo queen; she was an ambassador of cowboy culture, an inspiration to many young women. Her smile brightened every arena, and her passion for rodeo was contagious. While her loss leaves a void, her legacy will live on in our hearts and in the memory of rodeo. Dear Valeria, we will remember you fondly. According to the group, Valeria Mireles was a respected figure in the rodeo world, thanks to her impressive accomplishments. She was Miss Rodeo Mexico 2021-2022 and Miss Rodeo Nuevo León 2020-2022.
