Lady Gaga’s worldwide Mayhem Ball tour faced an unexpected disruption during its stop in Brisbane, Australia. On December 5, just as the singer was about to begin her show at Suncorp Stadium, security staff spotted Johnson Wen, a 26-year-old Australian known online as ‘Pyjama Man.’ Wen was promptly removed from the venue, escorted out amid boos from the crowd, after attempting to sneak in disguised with a wig, fake mustache, and sunglasses.

Fans attending Lady Gaga’s Brisbane concert shared videos on social media capturing the moment Wen was ejected. The footage shows the crowd jeering as security leads him out. Lady Gaga herself didn’t comment directly on the incident, but her team confirmed the removal happened before she took the stage, ensuring the singer’s safety.

This incident made headlines because Wen was involved in a similar scandal just weeks earlier: he assaulted Ariana Grande during the global premiere of Wicked 2: For Good in Singapore. At that event, the influencer stormed the red carpet and lunged at the singer and actress, shocking the cast and attendees. The incident was recorded and went viral, sparking outrage and serious concerns about celebrity security.

The Wicked 2 premiere was meant to celebrate Ariana Grande’s return to film, but Wen’s attack cast a shadow over the event, exposing weaknesses in international red carpet security protocols.

Johnson Wen is no stranger to authorities. His online persona stems from previous attempts to infiltrate concerts and high-profile events, always donning outlandish disguises. In Brisbane, security was already on alert for his presence, allowing them to identify and remove him before Lady Gaga appeared on stage.

This repeated harassment has fueled a broader discussion about tightening security at large-scale events, especially during international tours of major stars, to prevent disruptions and protect performers.
