Mayhem Reception

Despite the high expectations, Mayhem has received mixed reviews from critics. I was hoping for a natural follow-up to Born This Way. Abracadabra—the best track on the album—seemed to point in that direction, but it didn’t turn out that way. Mayhem isn’t exactly what I was hoping for, but it’s still a well-produced album with a perfect Gaga. When comparing, I’d go with her three iconic albums: The Fame, The Fame Monster, and Born This Way. And, if I’m being honest, Chromatica is far superior to Mayhem.”
