The devastating wildfires that swept through entire neighborhoods and other areas of Los Angeles have prompted an outpouring of support from across the U.S. and beyond. People have rallied together to raise funds for those who lost everything—their homes, their memories, and, in some heartbreaking cases, loved ones.

In response, the music industry came together last night as several artists took the stage at the FireAid benefit concert with a dual purpose: to offer comfort to the victims and to encourage donations, no matter how small.

Some of the biggest names in music—Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, and Stevie Nicks, among many others—performed at FireAid, held overnight at The Forum in Inglewood.

Lady Gaga’s Exclusive Performance

Among all the stars who contributed to the cause, Lady Gaga—who closed out the show—delivered a special moment by sharing an unreleased song with the audience and viewers. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the song was meant to be a one-time experience—at least for now.

Before performing the track, she made it clear: “This is only for tonight.” She explained, “Nothing felt right about what happened, so my friend Michael (Polansky)—my fiancé and my love—and I wrote this song for you.”

She continued, “I think there are a lot of things we need right now, but one thing we might also need is time.” Then, she revealed the song’s title: Time Is a Healer.

Dressed in a hat reminiscent of her Joanne era—though black instead of pink, nodding to Mayhem, her upcoming album—Lady Gaga sat at the piano, accompanied by her guitar, and sang in a hopeful tone:

«All I need is time to heal my broken wings and then I’ll soar.
All I need is time to leave it all behind and keep moving forward.»
