Kendrick Lamar finally delivered his much-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show on February, 9, filled with powerful statements—including a Palestinian flag—and several messages that likely didn’t go unnoticed by President Donald Trump, who was in attendance at the Caesars Superdome stadium in New Orleans.

Lamar had only one musical guest, SZA, shutting down rumors of expected appearances by Beyoncé or Taylor Swift. Additionally, Samuel L. Jackson served as the master of ceremonies, and there was a surprise appearance by Serena Williams. Williams previously had a romantic relationship with Drake, whom Lamar takes aim at in Not Like Us, one of the most celebrated performances of the night.
