The Emilia Perez actress took a break during the Oscars voting period, aiming to help the film with «her silence.» After this brief hiatus, Gascón is back and has already given us some memorable moments on social media.

Then, on Thursday, March 6, Gascón once again went viral—this time with a message directed at Oscar-winning Anora actress Mikey Madison.
«I would have loved to greet you on the red carpet and later hug you and congratulate you on the recognition of your work, but for reasons beyond my control, it wasn’t possible this time. I hope to meet you soon and express it in person,» she wrote via Instagram Stories.
The controversy is brewing, as Gascón is hinting that she wasn’t actually allowed to appear on the red carpet or greet her fellow nominees.
