Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples of the 21st century. Their relationship, which included a two-year marriage, was followed closely by the media until they decided to separate in 2024.

A few months after their split, photos of Ben Affleck hugging his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, made headlines. Sparking speculation about the possibility of them getting back together.

However, people close to the former couple are saying it’s just a sign of the friendship and care they still have for each other. Especially because of their kids, Violet (19), Seraphina (17) and Samuel (13). Despite their divorce in 2018, they’ve kept a strong and positive relationship for the sake of their family.

JLo and Affleck went their separate ways in 2024 after two years of marriage. However, it seems the singer hasn’t been too comfortable with the recent closeness between her ex and Jennifer Garner. Sources close to Lopez say she wasn’t happy about the photos showing Affleck and Garner looking affectionate after playing paintball at his son’s birthday party.

 

According to Daily Mail an insider said that JLo, “Saw the paintballing images when the rest of the world did, and of course, it will make her question things from their time together. Her friends have questioned how platonic Jen [Garner] and Ben are. She will feel betrayed because she invested so much time in supporting Ben through his challenges and had a rough year as their marriage broke down.”

While some sources say that Lopez is ‘furious,’ Page Six reports that another source claims JLo is focused on her upcoming Netflix movie, Office Romance. “I doubt she has even seen these stories as she is consumed with the film. She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness,” a source said.

It’s important to remember that J Lo and Ben Affleck gave their relationship a second chance in 2021, and they got engaged in 2022. What makes this interesting is that their second attempt came twenty years after they first dated in 2000.

Now, Garner and Affleck are very close. They even spent Christmas together, and Affleck stayed at his ex-wife’s house for a few days after the Los Angeles fires threatened his own home.

Garner and Affleck have always had a good relationship, and JLo was never jealous of it. She always saw them as a family that cares for their two daughters, similar to her own relationship with Marc Anthony. Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018. However, it’s been mentioned that Miller feels a bit uneasy about the latest developments.
