Chiara Ferragni and Fedez have been making waves after the influencer’s confirmed her ex-husband infidelity. While many expected the controversy to settle down, things have only escalated.

To quickly recap, paparazzo Fabrizio Corona claimed that the Italian singer had been living a double life with Angelica Montini while still married to Chiara. What first seemed like just another rumor was soon confirmed by Ferragni herself, turning the situation into a full-blown scandal.

The influencer broke her silence with a strong statement on Instagram, where she shared shocking details about Fedez’s infidelity. Her words sparked an outpouring of support on social media, but also fueled an intense media frenzy. One of her most surprising claims? That Fedez called his lover just minutes before their wedding, saying that one simple sign from her would have been enough for him to walk away from everything.

As the controversy gained momentum, Fedez initially chose to stay silent. But now, he has decided to speak up and share his side of the story. In a lengthy statement, he denied ever doubting his marriage on the wedding day, calling Ferragni’s version ‘ridiculous’:

He Chose Chiara, but Angelica Was in His Life

Even though Fedez ultimately chose to marry Chiara Ferragni, he admitted that Angelica Montini had been part of his life. He explained that they met a few months before the wedding, but both decided to go their separate ways. However, he reconnected with her during a difficult period, when his marriage to Chiara was already going through a crisis—one they ‘couldn’t resolve, despite trying.’

“The idea that I considered leaving my wife on our wedding day to run away to the other side of Italy is simply ridiculous. I chose Chiara with conviction, I loved her, I married her without hesitation, and we built a family together. Despite our differences, she will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children.”

“This Scandal Isn’t Helping Anyone”

Fedez also shared how his private life ended up in the spotlight and how the details reached Fabrizio Corona, the paparazzo who exposed the story. According to him, it all happened because of a mistake made in a moment of weakness: “When Angelica decided to end our relationship, I made a big mistake—I confided in Fabrizio and a mutual friend. It was a poor decision at a vulnerable time, and now I’m facing the consequences. But I reject any conspiracy theories or claims of manipulation.”

In his statement, Fedez said he has tried several times to stop the spread of this story, but without success. He also reflected on the media attention and how the controversy is affecting both his life and Chiara’s: “I’ve never been a saint, but our private life shouldn’t be used as an excuse to create stories or shift attention elsewhere. None of this is doing anyone any good—not Chiara, not me, and not anyone else involved.”

Finally, the singer announced his decision to step away from the spotlight and focus on what truly matters to him: “I’ve made mistakes, I’ve paid for them, and I will continue to pay. But maybe I’ve learned something. I’m walking away from this kind of exposure—it no longer feels like me (maybe it never did). Now, I’m focusing on myself and my children. The rest, I leave to those who thrive on this kind of spectacle.”

A Scandal That Won’t Die Down

Even though Fedez and Chiara Ferragni were already making headlines, the confirmation of his infidelity has only fueled public discussion. Meanwhile, Chiara continues to receive massive support from her followers, who have made her a trending topic on social media.

The documentary The Ferragnez, which offered an inside look at their relationship, didn’t cover these recent events.
