Everything We Know About the Danna, Belinda, and Kenia Os Collab

While the project has sparked a lot of excitement, it has also stirred some tension between their fan bases

The collaboration between Danna, Belinda, and Kenia Os has now been confirmed by the artists themselves. Since the release of Indómita, Belinda’s latest album, she’s been spotted spending time with the singers. Both Danna and Kenia Os attended the listening party, celebrating the music and posing with the star of the night—quietly putting to rest any rumors of a feud between them.

Since then, the three have praised each other at every opportunity, but the real surprise came when, one by one, they began hinting at the song they’re working on together, confirming what fans had already been suspecting.

Kenia was the first to speak out. During an airport interview, she shared her excitement about collaborating with these two major artists. Soon after, Belinda confirmed the news in a behind-the-scenes video from her appearance at Shakira’s concert. She explained that, now more than ever, it’s important for women to support one another and move away from the old narrative of rivalry.

Belinda described the collaboration as a “crossover between The Powerpuff Girls.” And although it might sound like an unusual comparison, it reflects the strong connection the three are building. Just days later, Danna echoed the same idea, using the very same reference when speaking about the project.

Could the Fandom Rivalry Affect the Collab?

While the project has generated a lot of excitement, some question whether it’s a good idea—and whether it will succeed—given the tension between their fan bases. On social media, clashes are common, with constant comparisons that pit the artists against each other. Much like their fans, everyone wants recognition for their favorite, and it often feels like there’s only room for one “queen” of Mexican pop.

However, in an interview with MTV Latin America, Danna addressed the issue directly. She explained that the problem doesn’t exist between them, but rather among the fandoms—and that this is something that happens worldwide.

“We love their love, but the truth is they’re all incredible. If only we understood that every pop star is unique—it’s not about who’s better than who, it’s about supporting them all in the end,” she said.

At the end of the day, as she points out, they all share the same goal: to be pop stars and to leave their mark. So we should be ready for what promises to be an incredible song coming this October.
