On February 23, news broke of the sudden passing of Jesús Guerrero (known as Jesús Hair), a key name in the Hollywood glam industry. The celebrity hairstylist was 34 years old and had built a highly successful career. Countless artists had been in his chair, from Rosalía and Kylie Jenner to Katy Perry, Demi Moore, and Jennifer Lopez, among many others.
Like many hairstylists, Jesús began his career working on weddings and small events. His big break came when Kylie’s makeup artist recommended him, leading to an opportunity with her. From that moment on, his life changed, and he became a go-to hairstylist for A-list celebrities. Many have emphasized what a kind person he was.
He was admired by many for his work, amassing over 600,000 followers on social media. His Instagram page has since been flooded with farewell messages and tributes.
There has been no official statement regarding the cause of death, but social media speculation suggests possible medical negligence. Reportedly, Jesús was traveling abroad when he began feeling unwell. It is said that he died in a hospital due to pneumonia, and there are calls for an investigation into possible malpractice.

It is speculated that Jesús «may have traveled to Dubai to assist JLo» but was allegedly abandoned there due to being ill with pneumonia and deemed «too sick to fly home.» Some users are already blaming the singer for this, but no official information has emerged yet.
His family shared three Instagram stories to express their gratitude for the support:
«Our family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this difficult time. Jesús was the brightest light, and we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he met. We have been in tears, repeatedly looking back and wondering what we could have done differently to still have him with us.»
Seeing the outpouring of love, his family also made a heartfelt request: «Reading everyone’s kind posts fills and breaks our hearts at the same time. If anyone has videos or photos they’d like to share, we would love to see every single one.»
They concluded with a touching message: «I don’t know how the world will go on without his light, but I know he will give us the strength to overcome any obstacle. RIP Jesús, we all love you.»
Rosalía, one of his closest friends, shared a personal tribute with a photo of Jesús and a direct message: «You have no idea how much I’m going to miss you.»

Jesús’ younger sister, Cris Guerrero, started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses. «With great sorrow, we inform the world that Jesús Guerrero has gone to heaven. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more,» she wrote.
«Born and raised in Houston, Texas, to immigrant parents, Jesús learned to work hard and dreamed of taking his skills to the highest level. Unfortunately, his passing was sudden and unexpected. His family is now handling his personal belongings and arranging to bring him back to Houston.»
So far, over $88,000 has been raised to help the family with expenses.
For now, all we can do is join in the many tributes honoring his life and legacy.
