Mexican music star Carín León is set to make history as the first Latino artist to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The announcement, made on this week by AEG Presents, confirms a limited residency of three shows taking place on September 11, 12, and 13, 2026, during the annual Mexican Independence Day celebrations in the city.
The performances mark a milestone for Latin music in the United States, placing León at the forefront as a pioneer expanding the global reach of Música Mexicana. His upcoming shows are designed to showcase a groundbreaking visual and immersive experience, made possible through the Sphere’s state-of-the-art technology. The venue features the world’s highest-resolution LED screen, which fully envelops the audience, and Sphere Immersive Sound, an advanced audio system that delivers unmatched clarity and precision for each attendee.

León’s rise in the US music scene has been marked by record-breaking performances and cross-genre collaborations. In March 2025, he became the first Mexican artist to perform on the main stage at RODEOHOUSTON, drawing over 70,000 attendees, a record audience for a Hispanic artist. Óscar Armando Díaz de León Huez, known professionally as Carín León, was born on July 26, 1989, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. After several years with the group, he launched his solo career in 2018.
