Barbarella 2025: The Dominican Republic’s Iconic Festival Returns

This August 30, the Estadio Olímpico in Santo Domingo will turn into the global epicenter of music and entertainment. Barbarella: A Summer from Another World, one of the Dominican Republic’s most iconic music festivals, will mark its return. This edition brings a futuristic mix of music, technology, and immersive experiences.

Produced by PAV Events, this year’s festival will completely transform the Estadio Olímpico with massive stage designs, cutting-edge interactive tech, immersive art installations, and multi-sensory experiences never before seen in the country.

The lineup is stacked with some of the biggest names on the global scene. Tainy, one of the most influential producers of our time (and a collaborator with the world’s top artists), will hit the stage alongside superstar DJ Alesso.

They’ll be joined by Diplo, Myke Towers, DJ Snake, Alok, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Rainao, Aline Rocha, and Midnight Generation — creating a 12-hour celebration that blends electronic, urban pop, and global sounds for every taste.

More Than Music

But Barbarella goes beyond music. This edition will also showcase a gastronomic journey. I will bring together five chefs from Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic with exclusive culinary creations designed just for the festival.

In another first, the entire event will be cashless, making transactions faster and lines shorter. From 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., audiences can expect not just music. But also art, food, and big surprises that will make this edition of Barbarella an unforgettable experience.
