Bad Gyal’s ‘FUMA’ Translation and Lyrics in English: What Does “Estar Killá” Mean and What Is ‘Eleven’?

Bad Gyal just dropped FUMA, the second single from her upcoming second album, scheduled for 2026. The Catalan artist moves away from the sound she had been showing us to dive into guaracha, gifting us a perfect track for any good rave.
As the artist herself explained to LOS40 on the red carpet at GQ Men of the Year 2025, this single following DAME “is a genre I love, that I really enjoy when I go out partying, and I really wanted to experiment with it.”
Among the lyrics, there are two terms that raised some questions. On one hand, Bad Gyal sings: “Fuma uno arriba, ta’ killá, ella quiere fumar.”
According to Fundéu, “estar quillao” in the Dominican Republic means being annoyed or angry about something. In this case, our artist is upset because she’s not sharing the blunt.
On the other hand, Alba mentions she “is at Eleven every day.” And what is Eleven? It makes sense that Bad Gyal — an international star — is referring to the exclusive nightclub located in Miami (though we could be wrong).

Rated among the top ten nightclubs in the world, it’s open 14 hours a day from Wednesday to Monday. So when she says: “No tiene hora, la bebé no se limita” (She has no time limit, the baby doesn’t limit herself), we could say she’s talking about this type of club.
Lyrics of FUMA, by Bad Gyal
She brings from Spain what she wants to smoke
She doesn’t pass it, doesn’t roll it, doesn’t share it
To wrap you up, she’s got the skill
She calls you daddy and forgot your name already
She looks at you, she’s enchanted
Smoking one up, she’s “killá,” she wants to smoke
She looks at you, she’s enchanted
Smoking one up, she wants to smoke
She’s a little crazy
She’s at Eleven every day
They see her on social media and think she’s lost
She has no time limit, the baby doesn’t limit herself
She opens the blue house with her little friends
A little angel, that little saint face
She’s not a doctor, but everyone asks for an appointment
She looks at you, she’s enchanted
Smoking one up, she’s “killá,” she wants to smoke
She looks at you, she’s enchanted
Smoking one up, she wants to smoke
She’s a little crazy
She’s at Eleven every day
They see her on social media and think she’s lost
She stays glued to the dance floor like a melody
She said she’d go home, but she lied
Feel the music
I want to smoke,
I want to dance
How nice
Feel the heat
Feel the guaracha
Light it up
Feel the heat
Feel the guaracha
How nice
