That’s right, Rosalía isn’t the only one who just announced a long-awaited historic tour. The Backstreet Boys are ready to return to their roots. The iconic boyband, which defined a generation and remains one of the most successful of all time, has announced a very special residency in a single city in Europe. And they will do it under the name Into The Millennium – Homecoming.
The band will be in Düsseldorf, Germany. Specifically, they will perform live at the Merkur Spiel Arena starting September 25, 2026. And pay attention: these will be their only dates in Europe for the entire year. The confirmed dates are September 25, 26, 27, 29, and 30, plus October 2.

Fan presale will begin on December 12 at 12:00 PM via BackstreetBoys.com, while general sale will open on December 15 at the same time on Live Nation. One thing is clear: tickets will sell out fast.
This announcement is no coincidence. Germany holds a very special place in the history of the Backstreet Boys. It was there they received their first platinum record thanks to the song I’ll Never Break Your Heart, and where they began to build the foundation of what would later become a global phenomenon. Three decades ago, the German country was practically their home: they recorded some of their biggest hits and toured European stages, winning over audiences concert after concert. German fans were the first to fill venues, call radio stations, and wait for them at hotel doors, giving them a preview of the fame that was to come.
The residency in Düsseldorf follows the overwhelming success of their Into The Millennium show at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Over the summer, the band performed more than 20 shows that sold out and received spectacular reviews.
For fans who get tickets, the experience promises to be unforgettable. The Backstreet Boys will relive their iconic Millennium album on stage, nominated five times for the GRAMMYs and responsible for era-defining hits like I Want It That Way and Larger Than Life. Additionally, the setlist will include a selection of their greatest classics, in a show designed to celebrate their legacy with the grandeur it deserves: a stadium spectacle, full of energy, nostalgia, and emotion.
With this residency, the Backstreet Boys are not only returning to Europe: they are coming home. Düsseldorf will be the epicenter of a celebration that connects past and present, reminding everyone why, after more than 30 years, they remain the undisputed kings of pop.
