A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is facing trial on charges of attempted murder following an incident that occurred on November 6, 2021, in which he is accused of shooting his former A$AP Mob member, Terell Ephron (A$AP Relli), during an argument in Hollywood.

The trial began on January 21, 2025, and during the first hearings, tense moments were recorded between the defense and the prosecution.

A$AP Rocky’s defense attorney, Joe Tacopina, argued that the weapon used in the incident was a prop gun, intended for self-defense against possible attackers. Meanwhile, the prosecution presented evidence including shell casings linked to a Glock 43, which led to a delay in the trial for the defense to review these new findings.
