Renowned Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA, whose real name is Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, has reportedly been hospitalized in Miami, according to exclusive information shared by journalist Fernan Vélez, known as «El Nalgorazzi,» in his column for Metro Puerto Rico.
According to Vélez, Anuel AA has been hospitalized for several days in a Miami hospital, allegedly chosen for its low profile to maintain the artist’s privacy. The reason for the hospitalization is said to be an infection in one of his legs, resulting from complications after getting a tattoo. The situation has been described as serious, and so far, neither the singer nor his team has released an official statement regarding his condition.
Anuel’s Health Issues in 2023
This is not the first time Anuel AA has faced health issues requiring urgent medical attention. In October 2023, the artist underwent emergency surgery for a condition he himself described as a «life-or-death situation.» At that time, he shared an image from his hospital bed and expressed gratitude for surviving the procedure.
News of his current hospitalization has caused concern among his fans and the music community. An official statement with further details about his condition and recovery process is expected in the coming days. Meanwhile, his supporters continue to send messages of encouragement and well wishes through social media.
Anuel AA is a prominent figure in the urban music scene, known for hits like «Sola» and «China.» His influence on Latin music has been significant in recent years, and his health status is a matter of great interest to many. We wish him a swift and full recovery.
