Tragically, it followed another devastating case: Amanda Borges Da Silva, a Brazilian influencer, was found murdered in her hotel room in Japan. What’s especially disturbing in both cases—beyond the violence itself—is the way in which these crimes unfolded. Now, another case of violence has come to light, involving Brazilian influencer Luna Ambrozevicius.

Known for her warm personality and close connection with her followers, Luna experienced a terrifying moment when she was stabbed during a livestream by her ex-partner—an attack that was caught on camera and is now part of the official investigation.

Yes, once again, everything happened during a live broadcast, where her followers watched in horror as Luna bled and cried for help after being stabbed nine times. Thankfully, emergency responders arrived in time and were able to save her life.

An Attack That Shocked the Internet

According to an official update Luna Ambrozevicius shared on her Instagram Stories, the attack happened shortly after she ended her relationship with the aggressor. Just one day after the breakup, he showed up at her home and violently attacked her. “He stabbed me nine times—six in the back, one in the foot, one in the ear, and one in the hand. I survived because people acted quickly. I’m alive,  stable. I’m here.”

The attacker has already been arrested and is now facing charges of attempted femicide, while Luna continues to recover in the hospital, surrounded by the love of her family and the support of thousands of followers.

In an emotional and heartfelt message, Luna returned to social media to thank everyone for the outpouring of support—and to make it clear that she won’t be defined by what happened. “It feels so good to be alive. God gave me a second chance, and I’m going to make the most of it. I truly thought I wouldn’t make it… but my daughter Serena gave me the strength I needed. Surviving this wasn’t just a miracle—it was a new beginning.”

She gave special thanks to her neighbor Renato, who stepped in and stopped the bleeding until help arrived, and to her aunt Marcela, who picked up her daughter and called the ambulance in the middle of the chaos.

Luna’s case is not only a painful reminder of the reality of gender-based violence. But also a powerful example of how quick action and a strong support system can make all the difference. Her courage in sharing her story is already raising awareness—not just in Brazil, but around the world—and may help protect others facing similar situations.
