The 2025 American Music Awards lit up Las Vegas on May 26, delivering an exciting night full of standout performances, emotional tributes, and long-awaited returns. Host Jennifer Lopez kicked things off with a high-energy performance that set the tone for the evening. She blended her 2012 hit ‘Dance Again’ with some of today’s biggest tracks, including Teddy Swims’ ‘Lose Control’and ‘Die With a Smile’by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
J.Lo’s powerful choreography and stage presence were on full display — and one moment in particular had social media buzzing: she kissed both a male and female backup dancer during the performance.
Latin Music Takes the Spotlight
A key moment in the night came when Becky G and Manuel Turizo took the stage to perform their new collaboration ‘Que Haces’ live for the first time. Their performance blended both artists’ unique sounds and highlighted the growing influence and richness of Latin music in the global pop scene.
