The iconic Bésame Mucho Festival, which was set to host a special edition on December 21 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, has been unexpectedly canceled less than a month before the event.
The sought-after lineup included Latin music superstars such as Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Los Tigres del Norte, Banda MS, Juanes, Carlos Vives, Gloria Trevi, and more. Tickets were initially available for as little as $19.99.

But what happened? The festival organizers released the following statement:
“Festival Update: We are heartbroken to share that due to circumstances beyond our control, this year’s Besame Mucho Festival in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium will no longer take place. We take great pride in our annual celebration of exceptional music and culture, connecting generations in a way no other event can. After working tirelessly all year to bring you another unforgettable show in December, we are deeply disappointed to share this news.”
The statement added that tickets purchased through Front Gate Tickets will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 30 days. For further assistance, customers can reach the ticketing support service at contact.frontgatetickets.com.
For now, the organizers have not provided further details about their decision to cancel the event. However, they have stated that it was due to «circumstances beyond their control.» This suggests that the issue is not directly related to the festival team and could range from licensing or institutional permit issues to potential problems that might have jeopardized the participation of some of the superstars in the lineup.
In any case, the Bésame Mucho Festival will return in Austin, TX, in April 2025, and tickets are already available for purchase on their official website.
