During the promotional event of the film in London, Zendaya turned heads once again, this time wearing a piece that resembled the suit of an android. This striking outfit was originally showcased by the French designer Thierry Mugler at the haute couture fall-winter fashion show in 1995.
Zendaya always keeps us on our toes, but this time she caught our attention for a different reason. Not only is she a talented actress on the big screen, but she also sings beautifully, dances like a pro, and could easily rock the runway as a top model if she chose to. With all these talents and more, it’s hard to imagine her having to repeat a school year. However, as surprising as it may sound, it’s true, and she herself explained the reason behind it.
During a segment of ‘true or false’ on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, the host asked, “Zendaya had to repeat Kindergarten, true or false?” The Dune actors, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and Austin Butler, who were also present in the interview, expressed their disbelief and confidently asserted it was false.
However, the Euphoria actress explained that when she was young, she was very shy. As a result, if she didn’t understand something, her shyness prevented her from raising her hand to ask questions. Consequently, her teachers would move on without realizing she needed help, causing her to fall behind and ultimately leading her to repeat kindergarten.
