They’re just around the corner, and it’s time to start getting ready! The 66th edition of the Grammys, those whom National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States has been presenting every year for over half a century in recognition of the best contributions to the music industry of their country, will take place on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in the city of Los Angeles, California.

There, once again, the most important singers, producers, musicians, and other industry members from around the world will gather to enjoy a gala that in 2024 will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, who will be the master of ceremonies for the fourth consecutive time. Noah first surprised nominees and other industry guests at the Grammys in 2021 and has since received praise for his skillful combination of humor and appreciation for music and culture in hosting such a challenging event.

In addition, on stage, he will be accompanied by a series of artists and celebrities invited to present some awards yet to be confirmed, as well as many top-level singers and songwriters who will perform in this new edition, whose names the Academy has not yet revealed. However, it is clear that they will not disappoint. The Grammys set a high standard, and it’s worth remembering that in past years, artists such as Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Sam Smith, BTS, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and many more have graced their stage.

The 2024 Grammy Awards Nominees

If there will be clear protagonists in these 2024 Grammy Awards, they will be women. Female voices stand out in almost all the main categories of the Academy awards to the point that, in the ‘Song of the Year’ category, in 2024, only Jon Batiste competes for his song Butterfly.

With him, not only are Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Lana del Rey, and Taylor Swift also nominated, all artists with more than one mention in these nominations and therefore, with many chances of taking home one of the golden microphones that will be distributed on February 4. The names of these seven female artists are the most repeated in the major categories of the 2024 Grammys, and especially Taylor Swift, SZA, and Olivia Rodrigo are the top favorites of the edition thanks to their work on the albums Midnights, SOS, and GUTS, their latest works respectively.

But undoubtedly, if a queen of the Grammys has to be crowned in 2024, that is Taylor Swift. The Pennsylvania singer has broken all records and has become the artist with the most nominations in the history of these awards in the Best Song category, one of the most valued by the industry. In addition, in this 66th edition, she has managed to equal the incomparable Barbra Streisand in the number of mentions in the Best Album category and, if she manages to take home the golden microphone, she will be the artist with the most awards in this category worldwide.
